Let's MEDITATE

Life is filled with so much activity and excitement, which can be great, but sometimes it's nice to take a moment to stop, relax and let go of all the stress and fatigue that can build up.

  • Take a moment to enjoy a visit to lovely spot along a mountain path

  • In the future, we'll change this video and visit other relaxing locations.

  • Oh the places we will go!

  • Where do you go to relax?
For some people, it's a shower or bath tub!

Find a quiet and comfortable place to sit or lay down. Enjoy the stillness of removing yourself from the fast pace of life.

Imagine you are standing on a wooden bridge overlooking a creek where alder, thimbleberry, and buckeye thrive in the cool and damp conditions. You've hiked up this Mount Tamalpais trail passing redwoods and Douglas fir. Multi-trunked California bays have shaded the narrow path, shielding you from the heat of the sun. Your lungs are filled with clean and crisp air. There's a refreshing light wind and the leaves in the trees rustle. Take a deep breath. Can you imagine the smell of nature? Birds call to one another in this distance. What are they saying?!

Visiting this place may remind you of a place you've been with family and friends. Close your eyes to imagine them more clearly.

Breathe in deeply and when you breathe out imagine stress and worries are leaving your body and flowing into the cascading water. Sometimes in quiet times like this, emotions can pop up unexpectedly and that's okay. For the moment, let them be.

When you're ready, open your eyes, stretch up your arms, and rotate your body from side to side. Acknowledge how lucky you are to be you in this moment.
